Dumpster rental in Canyon Lake, CA
Canyon Lake is a gated city, and the Property Owners Association runs the common areas inside the gates. We deliver dumpsters there, and getting the truck in takes a little planning.

Getting a dumpster through the gates
- You, as a member, authorize us in the POA's GoAccess system before delivery day. Our driver shows a license at the gate.
- Commercial and oversize vehicles enter at the East Gate or the North Gate. They are not allowed through the Main Gate.
- Service provider access lasts up to 10 days and is restricted on Memorial Day weekend, the 4th of July, Labor Day, Halloween, the Parade of Lights and New Year's Eve.
Sizes and what each includes
- 10 yard lowboy: 5 days, all weight, for clean loads
- 15 yard: 2 days, 1 ton
- 20 yard: 2 days, 1 ton
- 30 yard: 2 days, 2 tons

POA rules come first
Ask the POA about its rules for a dumpster at your address before you book. Its Planning and Compliance office handles them.
If the dumpster is for an exterior project, the POA requires a permit for exterior improvements.
Outside the gates, the city's Engineering office handles encroachment permits.

Questions about dumpsters in Canyon Lake
How do you get a dumpster into Canyon Lake?
You authorize us in GoAccess ahead of time, and our truck enters at the East Gate or the North Gate, since commercial vehicles cannot use the Main Gate.
Can you deliver on a holiday weekend?
The POA restricts service provider access on several holidays, including Memorial Day weekend, the 4th of July and Labor Day. Book the delivery for a day before the restriction starts.
Is a 2-day or 5-day rental a problem with the gate rules?
No. Service provider access lasts up to 10 days, which covers the days included with any of our sizes.
Planning an event in Canyon Lake?
We also rent porta potties for community events: standard units, ADA units and handwash stations. Community events inside the gates use Holiday Harbor Park, the Canyon Lake Lodge and Sierra Park.
The city issues a Special Event Permit in five tiers. Its page says events that may draw 50 or more people need one, and applications other than the Minor tier are due at least 30 days ahead. Confirm the current threshold with the city.
If you do not own the property, the owner has to approve the event. Inside the gates, that means the POA for its common areas.
