Sized for one project

The 15 yard is the smallest of our general-debris dumpsters, which also makes it the easiest one to place on a driveway.

It suits a job you can finish in a weekend. You get 2 days and 1 ton, so the plan that works best is to sort first, have the dumpster delivered, then load it in one push.

Jobs it suits

  • Clearing out a garage, an attic or a shed
  • Remodeling one bathroom or a small kitchen
  • The pile left over after a move
  • Spring cleaning across the whole house
  • A small yard cleanup
  • Roofing debris from a tear-off
  • Manure from a horse property

Getting the most from 2 days and 1 ton

  • Decide what is going before delivery day. Two days is plenty for loading and not much for deciding.
  • Tile, plaster, drywall and wet yard waste are heavy. A modest pile of any of them can use up the included ton, so tell us what you are tossing.
  • Lay flat things in first, like doors, plywood and tabletops. Fill the gaps with bags and small items.
  • Roofing and manure are heavy, and the 15 yard is the largest size we allow for either one. Ask about the weight when you book.
  • Keep everything level with the top of the walls.

When to pick a different size

  • Dirt, rock or concrete: those go in the 10 yard lowboy
  • Lots of furniture or other bulky items: the 20 yard has more room
  • A whole-house cleanout: look at the 30 yard

No dumpster takes chemicals and other hazardous materials, batteries, tires or appliances. For appliances, call Temecula Valley Junk Pick-Up at 951-291-1700.

One size down, one size up

Smaller: 10 yard lowboy

The 10 yard lowboy is smaller, but it only takes clean dirt, rock and concrete. For household or remodel debris, the 15 yard is the smallest size we rent.

Larger: 20 yard

The 20 yard is our most popular size. It includes the same 2 days and 1 ton with a third more room, so choose it when your load is bulky, like furniture or cabinets.

Questions about the 15 yard

What fits in a 15 yard dumpster?

Think of one project in one part of the house: a garage cleanout, a bathroom remodel, the leftovers from a move. If the job covers several rooms, look at the 20 or 30 yard.

Can roofing or manure go in a 15 yard dumpster?

Yes. The 15 yard is the largest dumpster we allow for roofing debris and for manure, because both are heavy. Weight over the included ton is billed separately, so ask for the rate when you book.

Is 2 days enough?

It is for a cleanout you have already sorted. If the work will be spread over a week, tell us when you book so we can talk about extra days.

What if my load weighs more than 1 ton?

Weight over the included ton is billed separately. Ask for the rate when you book, and mention heavy material like tile or plaster so we can warn you ahead of time.

Should I get the 15 or the 20 yard?

Both include 2 days and 1 ton. Most customers choose the 20 yard for the extra room, which suits bulky things like couches and cabinets. For a compact load, the 15 yard is enough.
