Low walls for heavy loads
A lowboy has shorter walls than our other dumpsters. That makes it a lot easier to dump a wheelbarrow in or lift broken concrete over the side.
Dirt, rock and concrete are heavy. A small container full of concrete can outweigh a big one full of household junk. That's why heavy material gets its own container.
Every other size comes with a set amount of weight. Not the lowboy. As long as it's clean dirt, rock or concrete, all the weight is included.
What it's good for
- Breaking out a patio, a walkway or part of the driveway
- Dirt from grading, trenching or digging footings
- Rock and landscape stone you're clearing out of the yard
- Concrete from a small slab or a block wall
Loading the lowboy
- Keep the load clean. If trash or other debris gets mixed in, all-weight-included no longer applies.
- Fill it level with the top of the walls. We can't safely haul a heaped load.
- Ask before you load asphalt, gravel, brick or sod. And let us know if the concrete has rebar or wire mesh in it.
- Got trash or remodel debris on the same job? Book a 15 or 20 yard for that and keep the two loads separate.

- Wood, drywall, roofing and other remodel debris
- Branches, brush and other green waste
- Any of the above mixed in with dirt, rock or concrete

Questions about the 10 yard lowboy
How much weight can go in the 10 yard lowboy?
All of it is included, as long as the load is clean dirt, rock or concrete. Just keep it level with the top of the walls so the truck can haul it safely.
Can I toss some trash or wood in with the concrete?
No. Trash, wood, green waste and other debris have to stay out. Once they're mixed in, all-weight-included no longer applies. Get a second dumpster for the mixed stuff.
How long do I get the lowboy?
5 days. If the job's going to run longer, tell us when you book.
Why is the dumpster for heavy material the smallest one?
Dirt, rock and concrete weigh a lot more than household debris in the same space. A smaller container keeps a full load at a weight the truck can carry on the road.
